Dear ASCA users, Attached you will find an ASCA observation schedule for the period of May 9 to 22. During the time when we had the "ASCA Cherry Blossom Workshop", ASCA itself transferred into a Safe-Hold mode on April 2. This is not due to a Gyro trouble but due to mistakes in the attitude control command sequence. It took three days to return ASCA to a regular observation mode and observations were restarted on April 5 at 8:00 (UT). Just after the time we have installed a 40 ksec TOO observation of GRB970402, and after then we have started observations along the schedule after G7.7-3.7 (PI: J. Hughes). Due to this SH-mode event, the observations of Galactic Ridge 9 #1-10 (PI: S. Yamauchi) and NGC 6558 (PI: H. Negoro) were cancelled and carried over. F.
