Dear ASCA users, During the last week end, a typhoon hit KSC in early morning on Saturday, June 28 (JST) and we have cancelled the scheduled operations for all the three passes planned for operation. According to this unexpected events, we were not able to observe IC 1481 (Priority-A, PI: A. Wilson), while the previous target A 1885 (priority-B, PI: R. Mushotzky) was completed with additional several ksec exposure as bonus. Unfortunately, we are not able to get a good observation condition in the rest window for IC 1481, then we will reschedule the observation of IC 1481 in the next window between late November to early December. I am attaching below an ASCA observation schedule for the period of July 28 to August 9. In this week we have two big project; one a Cas A observation for an annual SIS calibration, another a 200-ksec exposure of an AGN, MCG-6-30-15 to get a further improved iron line profile in coordination with RXTE.
