Dear ASCA users, Last week we have successfully finished all the procedure to replaced the degraded SKEW-2 gyro to the Z gyro. At present the ASCA attitude control system has neen operating normally with the combination of X-, Y-, and Z-gyros and we are observing targets along the schedule issued last week. I am sending a revised short-term schedule for the period of May 21 to June 2. Because of the gyro trouble, some targets once scheduled, i.e., 4U1907+07 (PI; P. Michelson), IRAS 19254-7245 (PI; H. Awaki), Mkn 509 (PI; M. Matsuoka) and IRAS 20181-224 (PI; T. Nakagawa), are carried over to the next window in fall. F.
