Dear ASCA users, I am sending a short-term observation schedule for January 18 -30. The first version of a long-term timeline of the ASCA AO5 observation plan is now provided and released. It is loaded on the ISAS homepage (http://www.astro.isas.ac.jp/xray/mission/asca/schedule/AO-5_LT.html) and NASA/Goddard ASCA GOF homepage. Although this is the baseline for the one-year observation plan of AO5 accepted targets, minor changes will be made without warning. When we need a major change of the timeline, I will inform in this ASCA Weekly. I hope those who have a time constrained target will check the timeline if the target has been allocated in an appropriate week. If you have questions, please contact me or Paul Hilton at ISAS (paul@astro.isas.ac.jp).
